The Website is Dead. Long Live the Stream.

We stopped visiting personal websites 20 years ago.

It wasn’t because we stopped caring about individuals. It was because the Feed offered something the Site could not: Life.

The Feed was current. It was messy, reactive, and alive. The Personal Site was a monument. Beautiful, but frozen in time. A digital resume updated once a year, usually when looking for a job.

For a decade, we made a trade: We gave up Sovereignty for Velocity. We abandoned our domains (name.com) for handles (@name), because publishing to a handle took 20 seconds, while updating a site took 20 minutes of CMS wrestling.

The Return of Sovereignty

Marqui is built on a single, controversial thesis: You should never have to “update” your website again.

The act of “blogging” as a separate chore is obsolete. Your thinking happens in the stream—on Farcaster, on X, in your notes. That stream is your actual intellectual output.

The problem isn’t the content; it’s the Container. Social networks entrap that content in a vertical timeline designed to be forgotten in 24 hours.

The New Silo: Artificial Amnesia

Then came the LLMs. We moved our intellectual labor from the Feed to the Chat (ChatGPT, Claude). But the Chat is a black box. The brilliant idea you had in a session with Claude is locked there. It is not portable. It is not composable. It is not something you can move around the internet.

Your best thinking is trapped in a silenced room.

The Agentic Web

Marqui is the first Identity Engine. It rescues your mind from both the Feed and the Chat.

It watches you live your digital life. It sees you debate a new crypto protocol on Farcaster. It sees you draft a nuanced take on privacy in a Thread.

Crucially, it makes this context Social. Instead of your knowledge graph dying on a server, Marqui brings it into group chats and workflows. When you enter a room, your context enters with you. You aren’t just a username; you are a proven history of ideas.

And then, silently, it acts. It rescues that conversation from the Black Box of the social feed. It synthesizes your scattered replies into a coherent “Essay.” It refreshes your “Interests Graph.”

From Static to Living

This is not a “Generator.” A generator runs once. Marqui runs forever. It is an infinite loop that turns your Exhaust into Assets.

By removing the friction of “maintenance,” we make the Personal Website viable again. Not as a dusty archive, but as the pulsating core of your digital identity—always current, always organized, and 100% owned by you.

The future isn’t a better WordPress. It isn’t a smarter ChatGPT. It is a Living Context Engine.

Marqui rescues your ideas from the noise, weaves them into a graph that grows deeper with every conversation, and projects your mind onto the open web.

It doesn’t just write itself. It remembers you.
